The Four Teens and a Tree commercial airs, followed by a quick announcement that "Shake-Out 2 (record) available soon! See your grocer for details. This was on "American Bandstand" over ABC (11/4/67). Featured band was Lewis & Clarke Expedition, a cutting-edge country-rock group. The leaders, Lewis and Clarke (not their real names) had close ties to Mike Nesmith of the Monkees. They cut one LP and several 45s, but nothing charted Top 40, and the band broke up by January, 1968. On the show, they lip-sync "Destination Unknown," and are interviewed by Dick Clark.
