Found another Great Shakes radio spot with The Who from June, 1967, on WCFL. The DJ was another Chicago legend, Dick Biondi. Originally out of Buffalo, NY, he came to Chicago in 1960 on WLS, moving to CFL a few years later. Biondi worked early afternoons on AM10 when the commercial was played. His Chicago career went on nearly 40 years. More notably, he hosted the "Friday Night Fifties Party" on WJMK from 1986 to '89. Biondi is near 80 years young now.
