I have fond memories of wildly shaking the shaker any time we were lucky enough to have our mother bring home some shake mix (which, as I recall, wasn't all that often -- it was a special treat). When we couldn't get the real mix anymore, my brother and I would use Quik in the shaker, but that was never the same. Hadn't thought of it in years. I wish I still had that brown shaker with the tan lid. (Congrats to JQ for finding one for 79 cents!)
