I've obtained a video of an old Andy Griffith Show from January 1968, with a GREAT SHAKES commercial featuring a guy who looks and sounds like Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits. He's dressed in a candy-striped blazer and straw boater hat, like the host of a circus side show. Also,American Bandstand (airdate 12/30/67) with the GREAT SHAKES ad showing four teens running away from and back toward a tree on left side of screen, in a bit of trick photography. The Bandstand show was the 1967 Year In Review, and the group Rose Garden appeared. The '67 commercial is on YouTube.
