Like the earlier comments say, these were more of a 60s style than a 70s style (except at the very end of the 70s when a 60s Mod revival overtook bands like The B52s, The Go Gos, The Modettes, The Revilloes, The Bodysnatchers, and several others). I've noticed that lots of people tend to call any woman's boot from the 60s or 70s go go boots, but, like the above comments say, in the 70s that term was only applied to the sort of majorette-looking, flat, lower-calf-height boots of the mid-60s, when the term, go go, was popular. The knee-high stretch boots worn in the late 60s and early 70s we just called "boots."
