It was a special day (or occasion) when Dad offered a trip to Glen Rock Bottlers on the ravine on Glen Rock (the road) in Waukegan. My brother and I got to run around picking flavors to fill the case for company. Once home it got iced in a tub with block ice from the Jefferson Ice machine to prepare for the party. The empty bottles in the case were saved in the basement until out next trip. Good times and great memories!
