Back in the mid 60s I'd ride my bike up to the corner store and buy a Giant grape ( purple ) one. Huge and thick, about the size of a Salvo Soap pad if anyone remembers those. Raked my teeth against it all morning. I'd pedal my Opie Taylor bike over to the Tom Thumb Track at strip shopping center, those giant slot car tracks where people would pay for track time. Those were the days. Wish I could hand my 7 year old daughter one of those classic, GIANT Sweet-Tarts now. All kids should have that pleasure.
