My dad was the plant engineer at the Sun Dew plant in the 60s. He installed the machines that would blow-mold the plastic conical containers that replaced the original wax paper ones. I learned to drive (on a fork lift) on the plant floor on Dunkirk St. The owners were wonderful people who were very supportive of him when he was starting up his electrical contracting business.
