Comments left:	These are FREAK BOOT. All the kids who had long hair and smoked dope (among other drugs) wow these. You were either a freak, a jock or a prep. We also wore Waffle Stompers—sort of decorative hiking boots, with a Vibram sole, and we also wore Wallabys (Clarks). Some of the US were also skaters and wore Vans skateboard shoes, but you literally had to order them from Skateboarder Magazine. A typical outfit for me as a Junior would be light blue corduroys, a leather belt with a belt buckle featuring a photo of shine sir, or a Zeppelin logo. Then on top you'd wear a surf tshirt and for shoes you'd wear Wallabys or Vans classic deck shoes. Puka shell necklace. In NC, this would be a pretty exotic look. But the girls really liked it.
