From the daytime TV vault, we go to the Big Deal portion of "Let's Make a Deal" on ABC (9/7/72. A couple traded $2000 in prizes for Door #3, which had $50 worth of Frostie Root Beer. Slogan shows a pretzel and the words, "Twistens Your Thirst." Behind it was a motorcycle. The couple lost $1200 on the deal. Another couple got the $9000 Big Deal in Door #1, which had fancy furniture, a console TV, stereo and a $2000 check. Both couples passed on a $5000 car behind Door #2. A rare episode with no contestant getting "zonked."
