From the daytime TV vault, a pre-Frito Bandito commercial. Starts with a cartoon of three little kids ("Clock Watchers") anxious to leave school and go home to eat their favorite snack. The kids were voiced by Dick Beals and Mel Blanc. This aired on the "Missing Links" game show over NBC (9/10/63). Ed McMahon hosted. Toward the end of 1963, NBC cancelled the show. ABC revived it early in 1964, and the host was Dick Clark (pending move from Philadelphia to L.A.), whose previous game show, "The Object Is," was yanked. NBC, in turn, replaced "Missing Links" with "Jeopardy" and Art Fleming.
