Growing up in East Boston MA, we had the awesome candy store called Geena's Sweet Shop. They had EVERY awesome candy you could imagine. Well, my mom knew the owner, and one day brought home a whole case of the orange wax harmonicas for us kids. We split them up equally.and me being the emotional saver in the family took them and put them away. Well, a couple of years ago my dad passed and we had to sell the house. While cleaning out the attic I came across my memorioes/nostalgia box. To my amazement my wax harfmonicas were in there! I still have them, but would never eat them now that they are so old. I can't believe I found this blog page. It makes me wonder if I should sell them. Maybe keep one for me and auction the others off on EBay. What do you all think? I have 9 of them.
