Kenner introduced the Easy Bake Oven in 1961. One of the few "safe" electrical toys which had only a minor issue or two, making it a big seller for decades. From the Saturday morning cartoon vault, an early B&W TV commercial with chocolate cupcakes being made. This aired on the "Alvin Show" over CBS (3/14/64). Episode ends with a funny PSA for Smokey Bear with David Seville and Chipmunks trying to record Smokey's A,B,C's.
