In my youth; running around locally looking for something to do and never finding it, I usually got hungry later on in the evening. At that time there was Druthers in our little town. I remember the fish sandwiches very well. A piece of deep fried fish (crunchy) with tartar sauce on 2 slices of seasame seed bread. To this day I still think that it is one of the best fast food fish sandwiches. As I understand from this site there is still a Druthers in Campbellsville KY not far from me. Might roll on over there and see if the sandwich still exists. Would be interesting to see if it is still as good as I remember!!
