Comments left:	I started working at Druther' s in Carmi, IL in 1987. I worked there for 4 years until I heard that they were shutting down so I found another job. The company and management were good to their employees.Where else could you go and choose from batter-dipped fish,real fried chicken,burgers that looked like the picture,best salad bar in town,or full plate breakfast? Some of my favorites include the fried zucchini,fried carrots,and chicken salad on the salad bar and the biscuits and gravy. We sold the super sized Pepsi that we have come to expect nowadays.I don't miss the blue apron and sunvisor that was the required uniform.I miss Druther' s!
