As a kid, I used to eat at Druther's in Hindman, KY which was the first fast food restaurant that Knott Co. really had. It was at the newly opened Holly Hills shopping center in the mid 80's, later turned into a Dairy Queen unfortunately. I always got the Andy Dandy Tale meals. Those who made all A's or all A's and B's on the honor roll or got perfect attendance in the local school system, they would get gift certificates for Druther's. Man, that was the day.
