I remember the Burger Queen, and then Druther's in Humboldt, TN. My grandparents lived there, and I loved going to both restaurants with them when I visited during the summer! I was from Huntsville, AL, a big city, but we never had Druther's that I know of. I remember the potato wedges, the salad bar, and especially the fried squash on the bar. That was the first time I ever tried fried squash, and I loved it! Now one of my favorite foods. I also remember my grandmother and I arriving back at her house after shopping or visiting relatives, and finding notes from my granddaddy - "Gone to Druther's!"
