25 year old here, just found a pair of these while helping my mom sort through her closet. I love vintage fashion and she told me how popular these shoes were in high school. She apparently had multiple pairs over the decades but had to quit wearing them because they hurt so bad if your foot slipped to the side. She was afraid they’d become a tripping hazard lol. I’ve taken her only remaining pair- they still have the toe bump so they must be pretty old. Unfortunately she’s a size smaller than me, so not sure how long I can comfortably wear them. But I love the style and reading everyone’s stories about them!
