I agree with hippie dippie as well, even the ones sold in the 1990's I got didn't have the quality of the Dr. Scholls sandals I bought in the 70's and early 80's, but were still great! And like I said earlier, they did take some real getting used to, since I never had a pair or sandals like these before. Scott's took some getting used to also, especially making a transition from wearing sneakers and socks with shorts to sandals on bare feet, but he never looked back as I posted earlier-- wearing his sandals every single time he wore shorts, and even with jeans as few times.
