Clogs and wooden sandals have been a part of my life for the last 40+ years and there was never a time when I stopped wearing them. I own many different styles of wooden sandals and clogs which I wear on a daily basis for both work and leisure activities. I strongly dislike wearing socks no matter what the weather, rarely wear other shoes and for the past few years I have felt most at home in my Berkemann B102 sandals. With their extremely comfortable wooden sole I can stand and walk in these sandals for hours. while I might wear another pair for a day in between, I always return to them because of their incredible feel. And even colder temperatures and rain usually don't get me to stop wearing them. The wooden sole is a great insulator against the cold and my toes feel fine as long as I am not standing still for more than a few minutes. For light snow I wear open-back clogs, for deep snow closed-back clogs or occasionally clog boots. But for more than 3/4 of the year, I am in my wooden sandals.
