I was 10 when I got my first pair of these sandals -- by mistake. My Mom had bought them and hated them when she tried them, and so they sat by the front door. So there they were, before I had to run out to get on the bus, so, I pulled off my sneakers and socks, slipped on Mom's red Dr Scholl's and schlepped off to school. I know I am the only boy who ever wore them at my school... when I got home, my Mom had already gotten a call from the school, so I found out later. I wore those sandals until there was only wood left... love them.
