Growing up in the seventies I will always remember my mum wearing schools. She loved them and had many pairs during the 60's and 70's. Like other comments all drug stores seemed to sell them unlike today. I now wear these and my latest pair are the pescura pop art which has elicited many admiring comments and enquiries. I too find it hard to purchase these and tend to use EBay and Amazon. Maybe I have always seen these through Rose tinted glasses but I have had a life long love affair. Other shoes may come or go but these shoes ........
