I'm 41 and bought a pair of the red ones back in 1983 during a Zayre closeout on the northwest side of Chicago for $10. I drove my family nuts with the clickity clock noise they made each time I took a step and I loved every comfortable minute of it. I wore them until I got married in 1995! They were too worn out to keep. Today, I'm ordering the newer version, the "Barbie" edition...still in red. I'm sure I'll feel like a kid again wearing them.
