I remember these cakes from the Dolly Madison bakery company; and yes, they did had red,white and blue stripes as well as little candy stars on top. I think they came out in 1976 (during our nation's Bicentenial celebration). the slogan for the commerial was: "Dolly Madison. All kinds of cakes..For all kinds of taste."
