Comments left:	I'm afraid Jon above has his Dittos history slightly off. Dittos certainly did originate in California and had more than a tangential presence there. By 1974 Ditto of California had factories in San Fernando and offices in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, as well as New York. In 1975 Dittos of California contracted with the business he mentions, Jolene Co. Inc. of Provo, who was a manufacturer of children's clothing, in a licensing agreement to manufacture and sell a children's line of Dittos. Jolene was not involved with the creation of Dittos or with the original adult line of clothing. This information is based on news articles found in the Valley News of Van Nuys and the Daily Herald of Provo, Utah, and can be viewed on newspapers.com.
