I remember these in the mid to late 60's. I grew up in a small midwest town. The local Safeway carried them... if memory serves me right... they came in a cellophane covered paper tray of 6 for 29 cents. They were the chocolate hostess cupcake with the chocolate frosting and the white curley mark, creme filled and shaped like a twinkie. This may have been a local thing as many I tell about never heard of them or are thinking of something else. This was also back when you could buy 6 full sized candy bars for a quarter and gas was 20 cents a gallon... ahhh the good old days...
