The 3-button style was the Henley Fair Isle. While in college in Upstate NY, we all wore either the Henley Deans Fair Isle or the regular pullover Deans Fair Isle. My favorite was the hunter green, but my roommate ran it through the wash and the colors ran all over the yoke... saddest say of my college career. And either the Henley or the regular pullover were always worn with a Brooks Brothers starched button-down Oxford cloth shirt with either a cotton T-neck or a cotton polo underneath. Layers, people!
