I remember this toy VERY well. I loved the t.v. commercial and wanted the toy so bad that (hate to admit this) I stole it from the Hudsons Bay store on main street, when I was about 11. Thank God I got over that behavior with a little persuasion from 70's discipline. The cars had a large wheel set in the center which had a gear on one side. There was a flexible plastic pull strap with gear teeth and you'd pull it through the wheel housing against the large center wheel, then set it on the floor and let er rip across the room and smash into other cars (hopefully) which would then fly into many pieces which could then be snapped back together for another run... Great toy ..Would love to see one again $$$
