this is one of my favorite memories to share with my kids. I use to go in a local store in Lake Jackson, TX and figured out how to hold them to the light just right to tell what coin was inside. I would go out to the parking lot and break them in a bag. take the coin, go back inside to the restroom, wash the coin and buy more till we ran out of suckers with coins in them. Use to drive the store owner nuts but the man in the meat department loved it and used to be the one to encourage us. I see Alice A said Blackburn made them. will have to see if I can find a picture so my kids can see.
