The original ALL DAY CORN SUCKER came from a little candy plant on Hiway 79 in Hearne, Texas. It was smooth and concave on one side and shape like an ear of corn on the other. They came in all the primary flavors. Most of them had coins in them ranging from a penny to a quarter. Very few had none. And they really did last all day. In the 60s I used to visit relatives in Hearne when I was a kid and we could either go by any local store or go directly to the plant. Sometimes they'd just give us a few.
