I'm soon to be 54 and was raised in Ferris, Texas. I remember these suckers being a sort of concave-shaped tube with ripples on one side to simulate kernels on an ear of corn. We would smash them early to see if we had won a coin inside. My favorite was the dark-reddish rasberry flavor. (We were convinced that the "corn-coin" debate in the name was merely clever, well-crafted wordplay.)
