On the Chicago scene. From January, 1971, a Chunky commercial featuring "Laugh-In" alum Judy Carne. She does a song-and-dance promoting both regular and almond bars. This aired during "Beat the Clock" on WGN-TV, Ch. 9. The first two seasons of "Beat the Clock" were wilder. Host Jack Narz be seen hopping all over, egging on the contestants to hustle in doing stunts. The game area had more psychedelic colors and lots of circles. Later seasons, the walls were gray, and Narz somewhat mellower. Actor Jesse White was the week's celebrity guest stuntman. WGN aired "Beat the Clock" weekdays at 3:30 CT (1969-71).
