I'm glad to see so many comments about Chum Gum, I started chewing it in the 50's. If I'm not mistaken there was three pieces in a sleeve. Three sticks for 0.1 cent. There was usualy three flavors in one sleeve, sometimes there would be two of the same flavor. You could buy 0.5 cents worth and have 15 pieces. LOL!!! I would always take it out of the sleeve so it would look like more in the little brown bag. I grew up in West Tenn. and the Priccipal would let us walk to the store while we were waiting for the high school bus to come pick us up, (at the elementry school). A Principal would be hung out to dry if he let children walk to the store while at school. That was the "Good Ole Days".
