I loved them too. Definitely a wafer cookie and that’s what’s missing from today’s offerings. I bet transportation was challenging. They got melty pretty easily. In the US mallomars aren’t available in the summer. What about Christy Cream d’menthe cookies? Open faced chocolate covered vanilla cookies with minty cream and chocolate drizzle. I ate a bunch of those.
