I used to save my allowance and buy Chew Chews. Too much filler in the NN ones. Going to try to alter some recipes and make. I will share here if I'm successful. (Nancy, the others you speak of are Jam Jams...simply sugar cookies rolled out, thimble or cookie cutter to 1/2, bake, cool and put a thick jam between :) )
