the best cookies ever, hands down. There is a similar cookie available in Extra Foods/Superstore - Loblaws products - a no name product (yellow bag). These are shaped like "goodie rings" in rounds, like donuts. They have a very similar top to chew chews, but a vanilla cookie base. They are not nearly as good, because the crisp and chewy base was what made chew chews the great cookie that they were. My best friend and I used to buy a bag of them and eat them in one sitting! Sigh. I'd love to have one right now!
