As a teen I was a carry out boy and bagger at my families small independent grocery. My treat ever time I needed a boost was a smuggled Smuggled Cherry Hump bar” from the candy counter. I am certain my Dad knew I was sampling but he always allowed my stealth. As a boomer I recall that time as a kid as wonderful as that purloined snack. I can still taste that time of my Life six decades later.
