I was a manager for Kings Food Host early 70's... the frenchee was not frozen in preparation. I worked in both commissary and non commissary stores... some stores made their own at the store only if they were not in a city like Des Moines or Lincoln... so I got to make them. They were frozen after making in the cities as they were made at a central commissary and shipped to the stores.
