I grew up on cheese frenchies also. Fortuately for me, my mom makes them as good as Kings ever did. She makes tuna frenchies as well. We've used various cheeses and ingredients. Don and Millies is close, but it's not quite as good. The best thing about getting cheese frenchies at Kings in Lincoln, was getting a side of gravy fries with it.
