To John and Boatzilla: I think you're referring to the Charms commercial from 1970. It began with a man and a boy about to draw suckers, to simulate a duel. The man cheated by biting his sucker when it was hopeless he'd beat the boy by playing the rules and licking the sucker. You know who won. This ad is from a Saturday morning "Heckle & Jeckle" cartoon show (10/10/70, NBC).
