From 1963, a TV commercial for Carnation Instant Breakfast with fitness guru Jack LaLanne during his daytime, syndicated exercise show. LaLanne's pitch was that Instant Breakfast was more nutritional than whole milk. Also during the show, LaLanne pitches a product developed by himself, Moisture Tone skin treatment. To get the product, viewers had to send money to the local affiliate. The exercise periods accompanied by organ music. LaLanne's dogs joined him on the set. Outside his studio, LaLanne appeared on other TV shows, including "Peter Gunn" in 1960.
