From the prime time TV vault, a combined commercial featuring Carnation Instant Breakfast and Squares with a family of four at the table. A German Shepherd begs for a Square. This aired during "Let's Make a Deal" on ABC (2/15/69). Carnation also sponsored a "zonk" consisting of 100 dozen eggs to a losing trader. The Big Deal was a paltry $5700, vacations to London and Hawaii, which nobody won. One couple won a $4000 Datsun sports car. Wesson Oil, Purina Dog Chow and Knorr soup mix also sponsored. Network promos for "Here Come the Brides" and "Dating Game."
