Yes, it would be nice if Nestle brought back the original flavors, especially eggnog. But there is more too it than just that. Nestle ruined Carnation's original formula for the powder as well. The original powder formula produced a wonderfully rich shake with great texture (although, sometimes a little lumpy). Nestle revised the formula (around the same time as they introduced the Sweet Success diet shake powder) to make it more "stirrable". This resulted in the shake coming out quite foamy with poor, foamy texture. This ruined both the Instant Breakfast and Sweet Success (which had great chocolate chip and almond flavors) powders sometime around 1996. Before that, they were great. Nestle sold off Sweet Success after they ruined it, but they can still save Carnation Instant Breakfast (or whatever it is called now). But I doubt they will. Nestle is notorious for ruining product they acquire. The only restraint they've shown is with Haagen Dazs. So, the original Carnation Instant Breakfast Eggnog flavor will only live on in the dreams of those who remember it, until we all die off.
