Joining the club here - this is the first time in a couple of decades that I have found anyone who remembers Worms pop besides me. It was found in the Quad Cities (Davenport, Iowa/Moline, Illinois area) in the late 70's and early 80's. One spot you could find it was in Randall's grocery store in East Moline, Illinois. It was in their pop machine at the front of the store which was located near their Pac Man machine. If anyone finds a link with a picture of the can please post it.
