I was raised on Camp steaks in the late 60's, 70's and 80's. My mother had a recipe we all loved. When I married in '91, i started making the same quick, "reasonably priced" and tasty recipe for my husband and later for my two sons. Fast forward, both my sons are in their twenties & I just made my mother's recipe with hamburger patties because I can no longer find Camp Stakes. It just does not taste the same. If anyone has a recipe on how to make Camp sticks, I would greatly appreciate you sharing it with me (I should say with all of us).
