my mom use to let us pick whatever cake we wanted for our b-day i always picked choc. cake with fluffy white frosting from a box.my mom just put boiling water and beat it til it was fluffy and had peaks.it had kind of a marhmallow taste to it,it was so yummy i made it all the time after i got married.last time i could buy it was 1976.it was not jiffy,cuz i found the jiffy & was so excited,i made it & it was not it.my mom thinks it was betty crocker.
