Comments left:	I've longed for Butternut candy bars for years! I grew up eating them as a kid in the 60's & 70's. I've never found any candy bar I love as much as Butternut. I remember the jingle where the cow sang, "It's buttery...nuttery" and the elephant would reply, "nuttery...buttery" and they'd both say "Butternut." The closest taste to it would be a Snickers, but the chocolate was milkier & softer, the caramel was very buttery in flavor--almost like a butterscotch, with a dense nougat-like center & peanuts. I can taste it now. I always look for it in Cracker Barrel stores, like today. That made me Google the bars to see if they are available anywhere & that led me to this thread. I will join in emailing and commenting on Hersheys Facebook page in hopes that will help bring it back. Good to see I'm not the only one who loves that candy bar!
