I LOVED my budgie jacket. My sister and I had one each for Christmas, in the early '70's. Mine was black and white. The black was a thick cotton fabric and the white was mock curly sheepskin. It had a zip up the front and no collar. My sister's was made of red synthetic fur and a stripy stretch fabric around the waist. We felt SO grown up, despite being in our early teens
