My mother was an alcoholic. Before she'd go on a bender we'd go to the grocery and load up on these 'boil in a bag' meals. They were little frozen bags of meats and gravy that we could boil, cut open and pour onto white bread. Those would be our dinners for the several days she'd drink. I thought the BBQ was pretty good and recall the turkey and beef ones as also being pretty good.
