General Mills sold Body Buddies from 1979 to 1987. Came in honey, fruit or chocolate flavors (non-sugary Trix, Cocoa Puffs and Honey-Nut Cheerios). Found a TV commercial that aired on the 24th broadcast of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" over CBS in December, 1979. The "Grinch" special first aired in 1966. Then, and 1967, the original sponsor was Foundation of Commercial Banks (Full-Service Banks). In each ad, the cartoon Grinch interacted with live action in a bank setting (usually Grinch as burglar being caught by human bank guards).
